Dooleys Hotel Waterford was built in 1700 and has been completely renovated after fire and re-opened in 1998. It faces the quayside on the main route through Waterford and features a traditional facade and very modern interior.
The new Dooleys bears little relation to the old but does combine some of the old time charm with a modern day sophistocation. It is a very popular hotel which combines the warmth of a family run hotel with brand new rooms and facilities. It was voted the best run hotel in the country by Holiday Ireland for 1998.
